Account Manager

Account Manager

Nationwide Displays, a leading marketing exhibit and events design and fabrication company, is seeking an experienced Account Manager. The ideal candidate will support the Nationwide Team on the strategic aspect of the client relationship by managing tactical aspects of project deliverables. The candidate takes all appropriate and necessary actions to ensure our clients regard Nationwide Displays in high esteem and have significant confidence in the support provided.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes but are not limited to the following:

  • Support and provide leadership regarding the management of your assigned clients Experiential Marketing portfolio
  • Serve as the lead Account Manager and primary point of contact with Nationwide Displays clients contact on project deliverables as it relates to Account Management
  • Engage Global Estimating when required and support estimating efforts where appropriate
  • Prepare high-level written correspondence and proposals to clients & client leadership
  • Prepare work back schedules and project plans, communicate action times to supporting personnel, monitor adherence to deadlines
  • Collaborate with Nationwide Displays Field Services to effectively manage required show services and schedule Installation & Dismantle labor for your projects
  • Observe deadlines, prioritize workload and operate under limited time constraints
  • Manage approval processes and ensure all solutions abide the show specific rules & regulations
  • Act as liaison between clients, agencies, appropriate 3rd parties and all Nationwide Displays departments
  • Work effectively and demonstrate respect for colleagues at all levels and consistently contribute to a positive work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office in order to prepare client correspondence, proposals and presentations
  • Ability to manage projects from start to finish (from creative development, to proposal approvals, to implementation)
  • Consistently demonstrate ability to support problem-solving efforts when challenges or concerns arise
  • Recognize and support development of new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Proactively contribute ideas to projects and regularly make recommendations to client contact and Account Director on how to strengthen our relationships
  • Participate in capabilities presentations, sales presentations, pitches and proposal generation for existing client base and prospects
  • Clearly represent their client’s needs, while guiding internal teams with their knowledge and insights of the client and the client’s business throughout the project life cycle, from concept development through delivery and final billing
  • Ability to travel four to five times a year for 2-5 day periods of time.
  • Ability to forecast client financial activity with Nationwide Displays on a 12-month rolling calendar
  • Monitor and ensure consistent delivery of ≥40% gross margin on average
  • Responsible for estimating repeat projects; working with Global Estimating on new builds, large activations or specialty projects
  • Ensure all costs/ items are accounted for within Nationwide Displays systems, client quotes, proposals and invoices
  • Review all invoice drafts for accuracy prior to billing
  • Follow-up directly with client, as required, to resolve unpaid invoices in a timely fashion

 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; and 3+ years’ experience as an Account Manager or similar experience successfully executing projects and programs and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Estimator

Trade Show & Exhibit Estimator

Nationwide Displays, a leading marketing exhibit and events design and fabrication company, is seeking an experienced Project Estimator. The ideal candidate will support the Nationwide Displays team by accurately, efficiently, and collaboratively preparing cost estimates for all required projects.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes but are not limited to the following:

  • Adhere to all Nationwide Displays processes and policies accurately and efficiently
  • Develop understanding & effectively work with required Nationwide Displays project systems
  • Communicate effectively with all required Nationwide Displays departments & personnel
  • Communicate effectively with strategic partners and vendors as it relates to estimate deliverables
  • Keep highly organized project files
  • Review all new estimate requests daily for a timely response
  • Prepare detailed estimates from various documentation for tradeshow exhibits / experiential marketing environments (proposals, designs, CADs, materials specifications, etc.)
  • Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
  • Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical data
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Ability to visualize end result from construction drawings or renderings

 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university and/or 2+ years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or similar experience successfully executing projects and programs and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Carpenter/Cabinet Maker

We are a premier fabricator of trade show exhibits currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated Cabinet Maker, able to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping quality and attention to detail as the top priority.

 

Our Opportunity:

As a Carpenter with NWD, you will be involved in the fabrication of trade show and special event displays. Your skills will be welcomed in an environment that is defined by high quality standards and unique fabrication challenges. In addition to working in a state of the art fabrication facility, carpenters who enjoy travel will have the option to be selected to qualify for short duration trips to various domestic locations to supervise the installation and dismantle of show displays. We are looking for carpenters who are looking for a career and to be part of our family.

 

Job Duties:

  • Plans and executes project construction and assembly methods by studying work orders and maintaining close communication with General Manager and Shop Manager
  • Verifies dimensions and checks quality and fit of pieces and confers with Shop Manager to ensure adherence to project specifications
  • Operates hand woodworking tools
  • Prepares projects for finishing by reinforcing joints, trimming, scraping, sanding and applies final touch ups to projects
  • Maintains continuity by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and needs
  • Accepts ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to the organization
  • Offer guidance to less experienced builders

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of math and measurements.
  • Experience in Finish Carpentry, Cabinetry or trade show industry.
  • Must have dedication and pride in your work to maintain high quality standards
  • Proficient with all shop equipment and practices: table saws, panel saws, routers, laminating, etc.
  • Metal fabrication and welding skills are a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, blueprints, shop drawings, and diagrams
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and complete jobs with demanding deadlines while keeping great attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated and high level of initiative; confidence to work independently and with a team, in support of project goals and objectives
  • High energy level required with the ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Open to potential for travel to supervise installation of displays at domestic and international show sites.
  • Available to work overtime and weekends if needed
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds

  • Full time

Schedule:

  • 8:00am-4:45pm, Monday-Friday, overtime as needed
